By downloading, installing, or using the DUK-C application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

DUK-C is a clinical reference and educational tool designed for healthcare professionals. The App provides guideline-based clinical pearls, treatment protocols, clinical decision tools, medical calculators, EKG interpretation references, and lab reference ranges. DUK-C is intended to supplement — not replace — clinical education, training, and professional judgment.

The content provided through DUK-C is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations for individual patients. Healthcare professionals should exercise independent clinical judgment and consult primary guideline sources when making patient care decisions. DUK-C does not establish a doctor-patient relationship.

DUK-C is intended for use by licensed healthcare professionals, medical students, and other individuals involved in clinical care or medical education. By using the App, you represent that you have the appropriate qualifications and training to interpret clinical reference material.

DUK-C does not require you to create an account or log in. Your saved items and any notes you create are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us. If you delete the App, this locally stored information is removed.

DUK-C offers a free tier and a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ("Unlock Forever") that unlocks the full content library. "Unlock Forever" is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and does not automatically renew. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and is processed by Apple through the App Store; we do not collect or store your payment information. You may restore a previous purchase on devices using the same Apple ID via the "Restore Purchase" function in the App. Refund requests are subject to Apple’s refund policies. Pricing may change, but changes will not affect purchases already made.

All content, design, trademarks, and intellectual property within the App are owned by Marko Lazović. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial use for clinical reference purposes is permitted.

While we strive to ensure accuracy, DUK-C does not guarantee that all content is complete, current, or error-free. Clinical guidelines and medical knowledge evolve, and there may be delays in updating content. Users should always verify critical information through primary guideline sources and institutional protocols.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marko Lazović and any contractors or service providers acting on their behalf shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to clinical decisions or patient outcomes based on App content. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App, if any.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Marko Lazović and any contractors or service providers acting on their behalf from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the App, your clinical or professional decisions, or your violation of these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

These Terms are between you and Marko Lazović, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and has no obligation to provide support relating to the App. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them. Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
