Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
DUK-C is developed and published by Marko Lazović (“we,” “us,” “the developer”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we do and do not collect and how it is handled.
Summary: DUK-C does not require an account or login. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads. Your saved items and any patient-context notes are stored locally on your device, not on our servers.
3. Content Delivery
DUK-C’s clinical reference content (such as guideline summaries, treatment protocols, and reference entries) is delivered from our backend hosting provider, Supabase. Because DUK-C has no user accounts, we do not associate content requests with an identified user. As with any internet-connected service, standard technical information (such as IP address) may be processed to deliver content and maintain security. We do not store personal profiles of users on our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
DUK-C relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy: Apple (app distribution and payments), RevenueCat (in-app purchase management), Supabase (content hosting), and Expo (development and app analytics/diagnostics). We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies to understand how they handle data.
6. Data Storage and Retention
Saved items and patient-context notes are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the app. We do not maintain server-side personal profiles. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat in accordance with their policies.
7. Children’s Privacy
DUK-C is intended for use by healthcare professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at the address below.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Because we do not maintain user accounts or server-side personal profiles, most data stays under your control on your device. To remove locally stored data, delete the app. For questions regarding purchase data, you may also contact Apple or RevenueCat directly. Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. To exercise any such rights, contact us at support@dukc.app, and we will respond as required by applicable law.
9. Medical Disclaimer
DUK-C is an educational and reference tool intended for healthcare professionals. It does not provide medical advice and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. All content is for educational purposes only. Please see our Terms & Conditions for the full disclaimer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
