DUK-C was founded by an Internal Medicine physician and a medical student who met while attending Johns Hopkins University. The platform was created to reduce the friction involved in accessing guideline-based clinical information, treatment protocols, and medical calculators at the point of care. Today, DUK-C includes guideline-based clinical references, treatment protocols, medical calculators, clinical decision tools, and EKG interpretation education with interactive pattern recognition.
